Dada Yar’Adua, mother of former President Umaru Yar’Adua and former Vice President Shehu Yar’Adua, is dead.
She was said to have died on Monday evening. Dada was also the mother of late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, the current Chairman, Senate Committee on Army.

Her son, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua served as the president of Nigeria from 2007 until his death in May 2010. He had previously served as the governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007.
Our reporter gathered that her funeral prayer will be conducted at the Yar’Adua’s family house, Yar’Adua area of Katsina metropolis by 1:30pm on Tuesday.
