There are reports that ethnic violence has erupted in Jos, capital of Plateau State, this afternoon. Reports reaching The Niche indicate that the clashes are between Hausa and Igbo.
Residents said several people have been injured along Rwang Pam street, an area populated mainly by Igbo, and Ahmadu Bello way.
Police and other security officials have, however, arrived to calm the situation.
