Breaking: Supreme court sacks APC senator, David Umaru

The Supreme Court has sacked David Umaru, an All Progressives Congress (APC) senator from Niger State.

  A five-man panel of justices led by Ibrahim Muhammad, acting chief justice of Nigeria (CJN), gave the verdict on Friday.

  The apex court declared that Mohammed Sani as the authentic candidate of the APC in the senatorial district.
