The Senator that represented Ogun East Senatorial District in the 8th Senator, Buruji Kashamu, is dead.
TheNiche gathered that Kashamu, the Ogun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections passed away at the First Cardiology Consultants hospital on Saturday.
He succumbed to the dreaded COVID-19.
He will be the third high profile politician to die at the First Cardiology Consultants hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, and immediate past governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, also died at the same high profile medical facility.
