*Salah scores again as Liverpool beat Manchester City to reach semi-finals
Italian club, Roma have qualified for the 2018 Champions League semi-finals after a surprising 3-0 win over Barcelona Tuesday night.
Barcelona went into the second leg of the quarter-final encounter with a 4-1 advantage.
However, the visitors were unable to put the ball into the net, letting Roma to go through on away goal advantage.
Edin Dzeko struck early to give Roma hope and Daniele de Rossi added a second-half penalty.
Defender Kostas Manolas scored the crucial third goal, heading in at the near post with seven minutes remaining.
Meanwhile, Egyptian Mohammed Salah scored again as Liverpool reached their first Champions League semi-final for 10 years after coming from behind to win at Manchester City and secure a 5-1 aggregate win.
The home side were trailing 3-0 from the first leg, but Gabriel Jesus scored after two minutes following Raheem Sterling’s pass.
Bernardo Silva hit the post before Leroy Sane had a goal disallowed for offside despite James Milner getting the last touch.
Mohamed Salah who scored in the first leg, equalised on the night.
Salah’s 39th goal of the season, a smart finish after Sadio Mane had gone to ground inside the City penalty area, left the hosts needing four goals.
Roberto Firmino earned Liverpool their third win over City this season after a mistake by Nicolas Otamendi.
