The intense pressure mounted by religious leaders on the Lagos State government to unlock the doors of worship centres may have finally paid off as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured on Thursday that they will be allowed to reopen from June 19.
He said mosques will reopen from Friday, June 19 while churches will begin services from Sunday, June 21.
The governor made the announcement during a briefing at the Government House, Marina.
