Breaking: Protesters cripple activities in Niger

Youths on Monday October 19, 2020, grounded both public and commercial activities in Minna, the Niger State capital.

The were protesting against Police brutality, SARS, insecurity, lack of electricity and bad roads

The protest, the second in the month, started from Mobile roundabout to the Minna City Gate, where they blocked the entrance from Abuja to Minna.

The youths were also appealing to the state government to end banditry in all the local government areas in the state.

The protesters however vowed not leave until the state governor listened to their plights.
