Breaking: PDP’s guber candidate Eleka finally casts his vote after card reader glitch

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olusola Kolapo Eleka, has eventually cast his vote after few hours of card reader glitch.

The Independent Electoral Commission’s (INEC) card reader had initially failed to read Eleka’s Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

Meanwhile, Ekiti residents are trooping out in their large numbers to cast their vote for their preferred candidates in today’s make or mar governorship election.

Hundreds of people were seen trekking to long distance to get to their polling units. This is despite the huge security deployment in the state which many public affairs analysts feared might deter residents from carrying out their franchise.
