Veteran Nigerian actress, Ada Ameh, has died at the age of 48.
The thespian, who was known for her role as Emu in the popular Africa Magic family drama, ‘The Johnsons’, died on Sunday night around 11pm after she was rushed to the hospital.
According to PUNCH, her death was confirmed by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas on Monday, July 18.

An anonymous source also revealed that Ameh was taken to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s hospital but passed on before she arrived at the medical facility.
However, no official statement has been released and her official Instagram still shows her last post of her eating a meal with the family around 12:53pm on Sunday.

Ada Ameh joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1995 and got her first break a year later when she played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitila’.
