Nigeria’s Super Eagles have qualified for quarter final of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Super Eagles defeated the hard-fighting Indomitable Lions of Cameroun 3-2 at the Alexandria Stadium in Egypt on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

The man of the match, Jude Ighalo, who scored a brace, gave Nigerians hope with his sixth minute strike.

But the Lions fought back with an equalizer, and doubled it two minutes later.

At the resumption of the second half, Ighalo struck again in the 63rd minute, while Alex Iwobi made it three two minutes later to win the day for Nigeria 3-2.
