Movie star Francis Duru loses 15-yr-old son

Veteran Nollywood star, Francis Duru, has lost his 15-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
Francis Duru revealed this in an Instagram post on Thursday morning, August 8.
He wrote: ‘My champ!!my lion..you fought like a lion…if this is the way He wants it, so be it, l still judge you faithful.. Ifeanyi my champ….l will miss you son…. will forever love you….Rest in peace son…rest….I give you thanks Lord!’
The son, who celebrated his birthday last December, would have turned 16 in a few months.

The cause of young Ifeanyi’s death was not revealed neither were the circumstances beyond what the father disclosed.
Francis Duru, a respected and beloved figure in Nollywood, is known for his contributions to the industry through his numerous roles in films and television, beyond his professional success.
Despite being in the industry for over two decades , he has remained scandal free.
He is reputed of having one of the most successful and enduring marriages in an industry where marriages crash at the speed of light and the dirty linings subsequently washed in the public.
