Obi’s resignation is also on the ground that the ticket of the party will likely go to the highest bidder. He has joined the Labour Party as it’s likely presidential aspirant in the next year’s presidential contest.

The PDP presidential primary holds from Saturday May 28 to Sunday May 29,.
