Breaking: Foreign Affairs Minister resigns from Buhari’s govt

 Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mrs Khadija Ibrahim, has resigned her appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

Ibrahim her appointment to  contest in the February 16 House of Representatives election in her home-state, Yobe.

  She defeated her son-in-law, Mohammed Bukar Abba Ibrahim, to emerge flag bearer of House of Representatives seat for Damaturu /Tarmuwa/ Gujba/ Gulani constituency of Yobe State last year’s October at the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election.
