The Federal Government said on Tuesday that it has rearrested Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), who has been on the run after jumping bail.
According to NAN, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, announced this in Abuja.
It is not yet clear where and how he was arrested. It is also not clear if he will be extradited back to the country since he has dual citizenship.
