A Federal High Court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital has quashed the governorship primary conducted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state on May 26, 2022.
Justice Agatha Okeke, ruling on Monday, also ordered that a fresh governorship primary be conducted within 14 days.
The court also disqualified the governorship candidate of the party, Akanimo Udofia, from participating in the primary, saying that he is not a member of the APC in Akwa Ibom.
