Bodies of Wigwe, wife, son arrive hometown for burial

The remains of the late chief executive officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and his son have arrived Isiokpo, his hometown in the Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State for burial.
The funeral of the trio will be held this Saturday at Isiokpo, the hometown of the Access Bank boss who died in a in a helicopter crash that also killed his wife and son on February 10.
A total of six people were in the helicopter that crashed near the California-Nevada border, killing all the passengers, including Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group).
The burial rite of Wigwe his wife and son commenced on March 4 with the celebration of the professional legacy of the astute banker at the Eko Hotel in Lagos.
On March 7, a combined service of songs was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Resurrection Parish at Lekki. It was followed by a wake keep at the Wigwe University in Isiokpo.
On Saturday, March 9, a combined funeral service will be held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo at 10am. The private interment ceremony will follow
