Brazil head coach, Tite, has quit his position after the Selecao were eliminated from the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Croatia beat Brazil 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out after both sides could not be separated during their last-16 tie, which ended in 1-1 stalemate after 120 minutes.

The ex-Corinthians boss managed 81 matches, winning 60 of those contests.

Brazil are now looking to regroup ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be a 48-team extravaganza held in North America.

Meanwhile, former German striker, Jurgen Klinsmann, has accused Brazil coach, Tite, of being responsible for the exit of the 2022 World Cup favourites, after making what he tagged a ‘basic error”.

Klinsmann reached the conclusion while speaking with the BBC after Brazil were eliminated from this year’s tournament, after losing 2-4 to Croatia on penalties.

He said, “Set the tone, don’t keep them for the fifth basically because you might not get the chance to kick.

Neymar would have been the first one for me. Just set the tone, score the first one and calm everyone else down”
