Brazil 2014: Primlaks group commends fans

-

As the senior national football team, the Super Eagles set out to do Nigeria proud in the final group match against Argentina on Wednesday at the ongoing World Football Cup tournament in Brazil, the management of Primlaks Group has commended soccer fans in Nigeria for the overwhelming support of the team.

Primlaks Group Managing Director, Mr. Anil Hemnani, said: “The massive home support of football lovers all over the country greatly inspired the national team to record a spectacular victory over Bosnia-Hercegovina last Saturday.

“With more home support on Wednesday, the team will equally be more motivated to soar higher than the Argentines.”

He said the desire to encourage citizens to take pride in Nigeria’s national colours, flag and food spurred his company to initiate the crowd pulling Sympli 100% Naija match day rewards to drum up support for the national team.

Since the beginning of the global football fiesta, Primlaks has been giving out a free pack of 1-Kilogram Sympli Yam Fries to the first 100 shoppers who demonstrate support of Nigeria by wearing the green and white national colours, waving the Nigerian flag or putting on green and white face paint at each of the Fish Shop outlets in Lekki, Victoria Island, Apapa or Festac; Spar Park “n” Shop Victoria Island or Lekki and 9-to-7 Mart in Victoria Island.

“Agriculture, like football, is very big in Nigeria and both evoke a lot of passion,” Anil Hemnani said, stressing, “our initiative at producing the Sympli range of convenience foods is driven by the passion for Nigerian delicacies, so victory for Nigeria on the field of play against Argentina will taste just as good as any Nigerian delicacy.”

The Sympli range of convenience foods, fruits and vegetables, which include delicacies like yam fries, ‘Yam Chunks’, ‘Dodo’ and fruits like pineapple, pawpaw and mango are processed by Venus Processing and Packaging Ltd, a member of the Primlaks Group.
