In a thrilling turn of events, Borussia Dortmund triumphed over Atletico Madrid in a nail-biting clash on Tuesday, securing their spot in the Champions League semi-finals. The victory, overturning a 2-1 deficit from the quarter-final first leg, propelled Dortmund to a 5-4 aggregate win, sparking anticipation for a rematch with Paris St Germain, whom they faced in the group stage.

I think we’re a better team today than we were against them in the group stage.”
Julian Brandt, the midfielder who played a pivotal role in Dortmund’s triumph, expressed his disbelief at their progression to the semi-finals, labeling the match against Atletico as “crazy” yet exhilarating. Looking ahead to the clash with PSG, Brandt acknowledges the challenges but remains optimistic, stating, “It’s going to be very serious now against Paris. We played well against them at home in the group stage, but not well away. We want to do better now and, of course, reach the final.”
