Boniface has found the net five times in seven league appearances for Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen this season

Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface has returned to training after last Sunday’s car accident.
The 23-year-old striker was involved in an auto crash, shortly after helping his club secure a 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
He sustained minor injuries in the incident and could not train with his teammates for a couple of days.

He was also left out of the Bundesliga champions’ squad for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against French club, Brest.
“Victor Boniface has not travelled for #BrestB04, with Francis Onyeka replacing him in the squad,” the club announced on social media.
However, on Friday, the Nigerian international trained with his teammates ahead of the league clash with Werder Bremen
Xabi Alonso’s side will be up against Bremen at the Weserstadion on Saturday night.
Boniface has scored five times in seven league appearances for Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen this season.
