The much anticipated comeback of Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface will no longer be feasible after he suffered a setback in his recovery from injury.
The Nigerian international has been sidelined since sustaining a thigh injury while representing Nigeria last November.
He, however, trained with his teammates before Christmas and this got fans of the club exited.

But their dreams of seeing the 25-year-old Super Eagles’ forward in action after a long absence was cut short after Bayer Leverkusen revealed on Sunday that he has suffered a small setback.
It is now uncertain when he will return to action for the Bundesliga outfit.
Boniface has registered eight goals and one assist in 15 appearances for Die Werkself this season.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently second on the German League’s log table behind Bayern Munich after playing 15 games.
They are expected to travel to Borrusia Dortmund on Friday for their next league encounter.
