Boma said almost every married man in Nigeria has a girlfriend and further asserted that the men are the ones footing their bills

Boma Akpore, one of BBNaija season 6 ” Shine Ya Eye” housemates, Akpore Boma, has asserted that 98% of married men in Nigeria cheat on their wives.
The TV reality star made this known during day 10 of the reunion show that aired on Thursday night.
Boma was romantically entangled with a married housemate, Tega Dominic, while in the Big Brother house, and their amorous affair was criticised by Nigerians and fans of the show.
While some shaded Tega for being with a man other than her husband, others slammed Boma for having an affair with a married woman.

However, the mother of one defended her alleged romantic affair with Boma, saying her marriage to her ex-husband, Ajebo Lawrence crashed in 2020, a year before the show.
Tega also told the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that her marriage claim was a strategy to win the show, but it ended up blowing in her face.
She said, “For a fact, I didn’t go into the show as married. I went in as separated. In all my interviews, I clearly stated it. I went in as separated”
Reacting to Ebuka’s question on why he chose to go all-in with a married woman on the show, Boma told his side of the story.
He said, “I didn’t say that, what I did was right or wrong but I knew something that other housemates didn’t know, Tega told me she was separated at that time.”
The actor who said most people are hypocritical, further stated in clear terms that an absolute majority of married men in Nigeria are engaged in extramarital affairs.
In his words, ”95% of married men in Nigeria have girlfriends, probably 98.
“I would say things that people are afraid to say. 98% of married men in Nigeria have girlfriends. Who is footing all these girls’ bills? Almost every married man has a girlfriend. All these girls…all the things they are buying are footed by married men”
