Boko Haram in video, shows abducted Katsina school boys

-

Forty eight hours after Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, said his group was behind the abduction of more than 300 Katsina schoolboys, the terrorist group has shown video of the boys.

The video, obtained by HumAngle,  shows the boys pleading with the government to disband the local vigilantes and closed all schools except those that teach only Quranic lessons.

The video shows one of the abducted schoolboys about age 14 delivering the message of the terrorists to the Nigerian government.

Looking terrified, the boy asked that all groups of vigilantes should be disbanded. He also asked that schools, except with the exception of Islamic ones, should be closed. He added that military and other security agencies should be withdrawn, and that aircraft flying around the forest where they were being kept should cease to hover in the air.

At the end of the video, the other boys joined in the pleading that government should come to their aid.
