Nigerian Christian author, preacher, and founder of the Conquerors Global Assembly, Bishop David Abioye, has stated that his wife, Mary Abioye, was healed through prayers after she was diagnosed with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
The clergyman made the claim while teaching on healing during a Sunday live service at his church.
According to Bishop Abioye, his wife learned about her positive HIV status during the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2019.
The clergyman went on to say that immediately upon learning the result, he rejected the diagnosis and requested another test.

He added that after offering prayers based on scriptural revelation, his wife was checked again, but this time, “they couldn’t find anything there.”
While addressing the congregation, Bishop Abioye recounted, “During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said no. Not in this body.”
He continued, “By the time they checked her… Because I got scriptural revelations: ‘The prince of this world came to check me and they have found nothing.’ So I said, go and do the check-up.”
”They checked her up and they couldn’t find anything there. Healing is not for gentlemen; you don’t nurse sickness to go, you fight sickness to go.”
