Big Brother may have found a way to remedy the blunder of introducing a new rule of eviction in the middle of the game which many viewers have condemned.
The show has always featured five housemates for the final contest. But in this season, six housemates would slug out the N90 million prize, a ploy to keep Angel in the game, viewers have alleged.
Saga, Nini, Queen and Angel had the least number of votes among six of the housemates that were up for eviction. White Money and Pere got enough votes to enable them to join the other three housemates for the last top five spots. But Biggie surprisingly squared Angel and Pere for another round of contest with a task to determine whom among them would be saved. For many fans of the show, this was akin to changing the rules in the middle of a game.
The sudden twist in the game has upset many who have used Twitter to express their outrage.
@MatldaHbw says: “It’s not even supposed to be a top 6. We have a clear top 5 here. That girl was supposed to go home.”
@DrOlufunmilayo says: The real sad part to all this is that regardless of the outcome- Biggie will only set up this babe to be hated and dragged for a situation she really has no control over. It’s a shame how the organisers of this brainless adventure thinks it’s okay to put this girl in such state.
@@KemKemz2 added: BBNaija I wonder what Pere will feel when he comes out to see the spot was always his and they stressed him for nothing. I wonder how Queen is feeling cause she could have really been top 6.
