As part of its efforts to celebrate the most deserving Nigerians across entertainment and sports, Bright Entertainment Network (BEN) TV is set to stage its maiden entertainment awards.
Scheduled for November 23, 2014 at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Lekki, official host for the event is ace comedian, Ayo Makun, popular as AY, while the chief announcer will be Kaylah Oniwo of Cool FM.
The organisers hope to reward the Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Movie in the movie categories.
In the music categories, the Best Newcomer, Best Female Act, Best Male Act, Best Group, Best African Artiste, Best Hip-Hop Male Artiste, Best Hip-Hop Female Artiste and Best Artiste in Diaspora will be rewarded.
There would also be Best Collaboration, Best International Collaboration, Best Reggae/Dancehall, Best Gospel Artiste, Music Producer of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
Also to be awarded are Music Video Director of the Year, Single Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Comedian Of The Year.
Outstanding sports personalities will not be left out.
Before the grand finale, there would be a nominee and autograph party where loyal fans would have the opportunity not only to party with celebrities and nominees, but they will also get their autographs.
Special Recognition Awards for people who have excelled in their various fields across the years.
BEN TV, a Nigerian-owned television channel based in the UK, was launched in 2003 by Soyode aimed mainly at expatriate Africans living in Europe and North Africa.
