The Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, has said that he may heed the call to run for the presidency in 2023.
Bello had met Buhari in Aso Rock. And after the meeting, he announced to journalist at the Villa that he might yield to popular pressure to run for Aso Rock in 2023.
He said Nigerians, especially the youthful population wants him to contest the presidency, a decision he had been delaying.
He told State House Correspondents after meeting with President Buhari that he may have to yield to the demand of the youth.

He said competence and capacity should be the criteria for electing the next president and not his ethnicity or region.
