Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita,  Acting Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), has called on civil servants in the country to exhibit the highest level of professionalism in all their responsibilities by ensuring that they report to work early and render efficient services to Nigerians.

In a statement by Assistant Director (Media Relations) Mohammed Manga, Mrs. Oyo-Ita made the call in Abuja Tuesday when she paid an unscheduled visit to the Federal Ministry of Communications Technology.

According to Oyo-Ita, she was at the ministry to see how well staff aligned themselves with the change mantra of the present administration and commended the permanent secretary, directors and staff of the ministry for being punctual to work.

In view of the strategic and significant role the ministries are expected to play in the development of the nation, Oyo-Ita urged civil servants to render efficient and effective services to Nigerians in order to accelerate economic growth and development in the country.

She reminded workers in the ministry that the present administration is committed to the provision of better services to Nigerians and that civil servants have a great role to play in the realisation of this objective.
