Laycon, winner of BBnaija season five held his debut concert on Tuesday and the event was attended by top stars in the entertainment industry, including some of his former colleagues on the reality TV show.

Musicians and other celebrities such as Joeboy, Whitemoney, and her boyfriend, Neo performed at the concert, but Vee was conspicuously missing despite arguably being Laycon’s best friend among BBNaija season five housemates.

Her absence has sent tongues wagging on social media, as some social media users have insinuated that all was no longer well between the duo.

According to the talented singer, she was looking forward to the event until she developed a health challenge, which made her cough and affected her breathing.

She also said her health situation necessitated her to take a COVID-19 test, which turned out negative. She added that she’s currently taking her drugs, as she went on to congratulate Laycon on his latest achievement.

Vee wrote:: “I was looking forward to performing Enter My Head at iConsFest but as it is, I still can’t take a deep breath without coughing. I tested negative for Covid, but I’m taking medication. Simple. Congratulations @itsLaycon I expected nothing less! YOU DESERVE IT”
