Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Mike Edwards has announced his decision to join professional boxing.
The athlete turned reality star made this known via his X handle on Friday, April 12.
According to the 33-year-old, he would be joining the Cruiserweight division of the Misfits Boxing.
He went on to say his debut bout would be against Jake Cornish on a yet-to-be-announced date.

Speaking on his verified social media page, Mike Edwards tweeted: “Breaking News: Excited to announce my entry into the world of professional boxing! Thrilled to join the Cruiserweight division roster on @MisfitsBoxing.
“Get ready for an electrifying debut as I step into the ring to showcase my skills and determination.”
Mike Edwards was the runner-up of Big Brother Nigeria 4, tagged, “Pepper Dem”,
he lost the prize to eventual winner, Mercy Eke.
The edition of the reality show had 21 housemates and it was beamed on live TV for 99 days
The winner took home N60 million prizes and It was also the first time the show will be shot entirely in Nigeria.
