Ike and Mercy met during the 4th edition of BBNaija reality show in 2019, but the relationship crashed in 2020

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘All Stars’ housemate, Ikechukwu Onyema, better known as Ike has said he is willing to form alliances against his ex-lover and fellow housemate, Mercy Eke.
Ike made this known during a chat with fellow housemate, Angel Smith, where he also ruled out the possibility of his estranged lover winning the N120 million cash prize up for grabs.
While discussing his nomination for eviction on Monday night with Angel, Ike said: “I have a feeling that Mercy wanted to nominate me and I don’t know why.
“But If she tries anything funny I will form alliances and we will take her down, I will make sure she doesn’t win, sheybi her fans get money ni, they will vote tire.”

Speaking about the chances of Mercy, the winner of season 4 of the show and Whitemoney, who won the 6th edition, Ike said both housemates are unlikely to win it again.
He went on to explain that his prediction was not informed by his grudge against his ex-girlfriend.
He said: “I was shocked seeing two former winners here, no way. I’m sorry, them no go chop this money twice. I have no problem with her [Mercy] but I know she’s a threat,”
Reacting to his comment, Angel asked: “So, you guys won’t talk?”
He replied saying: “Obviously, with time. Right now, no. She is the kind of person that if you let her, she would take advantage. We can just be cool.”
