Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, better  known as Doyin, has sent tongues wagging on social media once again after her latest comment.

She made this known in the latest episode of her podcast ‘Doyin’s Corner’, where she said her ideal husband should be able to afford to hire a cook and cleaner because she will not do house chores when married.

Speaking during the show, Doyin said: “I hope that I would have a cook when I get married. Not even hope, I would have a cook when I get married, definitely.”

She added: “I will have somebody that will cook and clean. I’m not going to marry a man that cannot afford a cook. Because I’m going to be working. There’s no way I’m going to come back from work to cook and clean. That’s not going to happen.”

After her podcast made the rounds online, netizens took to the comment section to lambast her.  However, a few others, majority of whom were women agreed with her saying “marriage is not slavery.”

Her comment comes after another BBNaija star, Sheggz had argued that a man should foot most of the bills in any form of romantic relationship.

Speaking while featuring on the latest episode of ‘Bahd And Boujee’ podcast, he said:“I don’t want my babe paying my bills or paying her own bills because it’s going to be disrespectful.

“By the way, I go for women that work really hard. In my situation, my woman works really hard and she is actually successful but I understand that my money is our money and her money is her money.”
