On Thursday, April 21, a video where the 26-year-old Ike Onyema said he loves girls with natural backsides emerged and went viral.

In a separate post, the reality star also disclosed that he tried changing a ‘whore’ into a housewife but he failed.

The two posts were subsequently interpreted by the online community as a subtle shade thrown at Mercy Eke, who had undergone butt surgery in the past.

Ike Onyema asserted that he still respects and cares for Mercy Eke, and therefore can’t shade her, he also claimed that since the BBN winner is still mourning his dad, it will be insensitive to take a dig at her.

He went on to clarify that his TikTok video was not aimed at Mercy Eke, as she remains part of his journey, and added that they have both moved on after their break-up.

He wrote, “Hey! I usually won’t say anything regarding assumptions and speculations around my post, but I think it’s high time I address this issue, especially if someone I respect and care for is being mentioned knowing fully well she’s going through a loss.

” My post/TikTok wasn’t in anyway to shade anyone. She was a part of my journey. We’ve both moved on and are happy. Moving forward I hope my post does not seem like a subliminal shade. Thank you”.
