Since housemates gathered for BBnaija Lockdown Reunion two weeks ago, fans of the show have been treated to moments of entertainment, intrigues, hullabaloo and controversies.

There have been petty fights, backbiting, revelations of love triangles and entanglements, accusations and counter accusations and some daring romantic adventures by housemates.

The show which brought amusement to the faces of viewers, held them spellbound and glued them to their TV sets came to a befitting end yesterday.

Ebuka, who started the final show with separate sessions with the ladies and men, asked the guys who they thought was the favorite to win the competition when they first met each other inside the BIG Brother House.

A resounding consensus among them was that the supremacy battle was between Prince, Ozo and Kiddwaya.

Laycon who felt he stood no chance of winning the price and had planned to make the best of the two weeks he set as target for himself eventually became the surprise winner,

Ladies thereafter revealed to the show host, that relationships among the ladies were more complicated and filled with rancor, unlike their male counterparts whom they found more friendly, warm and easier to bond with.

Ka3na used the opportunity to settle the rift between her and Nengi; telling her that despite their rivalry in and outside the house, she does not hate her.

Dorathy advised housemates to ensure they do not let what their fans dictate to them or create enmity between them and their colleagues.

The host went further to ask the former housemates, what kind of pressure they faced after the show and how they coped with the pressure associated with fame that came with becoming celebrities.

Lilo, who was evicted early from the competition, said she didn’t feel the pressure much; rather, she used the fame to better her lot after the house.

Kiddwaya, who felt the assertion that they were lucky and not talented, is unfair, concluded that opportunity must, meet luck for anyone to be successful in life.

Nengi felt the brand ambassadorial contracts she got after the show exerted a little pressure on her but coped well.

TolaniBaj said though pressure came with fame but since they are humans, they are allowed to make mistakes.

Laycon, the winner of the show, said his own pressure occurred in three folds, as a winner, participant and an artist.

Lucy felt it accorded her opportunity to grow and be molded into what society expected of her.

Praise opined the world he left wasn’t the same he met after the reality show but had to fit in. Brighto outsourced his social media platforms, which helped cope with his own pressure.

Another former housemate, Wathoni, said being a show host and an aspiring writer before the BBnaija experience, helped her cope with pressure associated with fame.

Toshi, who is now a realtor, told the show host he was initially caught between delving into showbiz after the show but resisted the temptation and chose to follow his real estate dream.

Ebuka also wanted to know if they felt this year’s reunion further strained their already fractured relationship or presented an avenue to say all they had kept in their chest and find closure. The housemates in response believed the show achieved the later.

In a bid to appropriately cap the show, video clips showing unseen moments during the reunion was played, interactions behind the scenes between housemates  not aired to viewers was played by the host and more moments of hostility were revealed.

Ebuka thereafter bid the housemates of season 5 of the reality show, BBNaija Lockdown fans and viewers of the reunion show goodbye and promised more entertainment and suspense when season 6 edition of BBNaija kicks off.
