BBNaija 10 unveils fifteen female housemates

The male housemates of this season’s BBNaija will be introduced on Sunday, July 27, during the second part of the launch show.

The highly anticipated Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10, dubbed “10/10,” kicked off on Saturday, July 26, 2025, with the introduction of female housemates.

The reality TV show, which promises to bring intense drama and excitement to many Nigerian homes will see housemates from diverse backgrounds compete for the grand prize of N150 million worth of gifts over the next 71 days.

Fan favourite, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu also remains the host of the popular show.

Fifteen female housemates were introduced to the house on Saturday night, each bringing their unique personalities:

1 Sonia Amako aka Big Soso,

Sonia Amako, aka Big Soso, is a 28-year-old chef and lawyer from Kaduna who’s cooking up more than just meals in the BBNaija house. She’s on a mission to represent the strength and grace of Northern women, proving that tradition and ambition can go hand in hand.

2 Precious Ashiogwu aka Dede.

At 23, Precious Ashiogwu from Delta State is bringing her Scorpio fire to the Big Brother Naija house. A proud entrepreneur, she says she’s here for “the money, exposure, and plot twists.” In her words, “I belong in the spotlight—and I’ll get it.”

3 Doris Okorie

At 33, Doris Okorie from Imo State says life’s gotten too routine, and she’s stepping into the Big Brother Naija house to “cause some not-so-innocent problems and bounce.” A trained actor with a flair for drama, Doris says she misses the chaos of her all-girls boarding school days.

4. Nicole Simon-Ogan (Gigi Jasmine)

31-year-old Nicole Simon-Ogan, known on stage as Gigi Jasmine is an Akwa Ibom-born DJ with brains, beats, and boldness. She’s entering the Big Brother Naija house to expand her brand, inspire others, and prove that she’s more than just vibes and moves.

5. Ibifubara Davies

Lagos-based Ibifubara Davies, 28, is stepping into the Big Brother Naija house to claim what she calls her rightful place in the spotlight. “I’m a superstar,” she says. “And every star deserves her platform.

6. Opeyemi Ayanwale (Imisi)

At 23, Opeyemi Ayanwale, aka Imisi, is ready to bare it all—no filters, no fronting. A fashion designer and actor from Oyo State, Imisi says they’re here to prove there’s more to them than just a pretty face.

7. Esther Georgewill (Isabella)

At 29, Esther Georgewill, better known as Isabella, is stepping out from behind the Instagram filter and into the BBNaija spotlight. The Rivers-born entrepreneur says she’s “TV material” and ready to show the world the complex, soulful woman behind the glow.

8. Ifeyinwa Okafor (Ivatar)

At 37, Ifeyinwa Okafor, known as Ivatar, is proving it’s never too late to chase your dreams. A media personality and entrepreneur from Anambra State, she’s stepping into the BBNaija house to fulfil a long-time goal — and to make her 18-year-old daughter, a big fan of the show, proud.

9. Josephine Iwoh (Joanna)

At just 21, Josephine Iwoh, aka Joanna, is stepping into the BBNaija house to strip away the performances and reveal the real her. The Benue-born fashion creator and entrepreneur says this journey is about embracing her complexity — “the raw, the crazy, the spontaneous” — and pushing beyond her limits.

10. Ayomide Iwasokun (Mide)

At 23, Ayomide Iwasokun, aka Mide, says Big Brother Naija is the perfect stage to unlock her star power. The Ondo-born entrepreneur sees the show as more than a game, it’s her launchpad into acting and self-discovery.

11. Sabrina Idukpaye

At 32, Sabrina Idukpaye is stepping into the BBNaija spotlight not just as a contestant, but as a “layered woman” on a mission. Hailing from Edo State and calling herself a “Princess” by passion, Sabrina says she’s here to spark deep conversations, entertain, and leave an unforgettable mark.

12. Farida Sultana Auduson (Sultana)

25-year-old Farida Sultana Auduson Ibrahim from Adamawa State is bringing elegance, spice, and Northern charm to the BBNaija house. A plus-size model and beautician, she’s here to push her limits, connect across cultures, and show that Northern women are vibrant, complex and fun.

13. Thelma Lawson

Thelma Lawson, 26, is a Rivers-born skincare consultant with the grit of a businesswoman and the heart of a survivor. A single mom still healing from deep loss, she’s here to win cash, gain visibility, and have a little fun while she’s at it.

14. Uchenna Ekwe (Tracy)

Uchenna Ekwe, 27, aka Tracy, is hitting the BBNaija house with one mission: shake off the pressure and enjoy the ride. A graduate trainee from Anambra, she’s choosing fun, freedom, and risk over routine.

15. Elizabeth Oloruntola (Zita)

Elizabeth Oloruntola, 24, from Ogun State, aka Zita, is the student, model, and content queen who plans to turn the BBNaija house into her personal confessional. Bold, sassy, and full of spice, Zita says she’s here to bring gossip, energy, and girly chaos.

The male housemates will be introduced on Sunday, July 27, 2025, during the second part of the launch show.
