The wind of celebration blew in Bayelsa State on Friday as President Mohammodu Buhari appointed and inaugurated Timipre Silva as Minister of State for petroleum.
Mrs Cynthia Princewill who is the state women leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) Bayelsa State described the appointment as a plus to every Bayelsans.
The women leader said among the millions in Bayelsa only Silva was picked by Buhari and it called for celebration.
“We are celebrating our leader because we know the potentials in him that he will deliver.”
Also speaking on the gubernatorial Election primary in Bayelsa Mrs Princewill said APC is the only party that is very organized in the state.
We have less numbers of the aspirants and the party believes in the direct primaries that will carry every card carrying members of our party along and whoever is picked will be the flag bearer of the party to unseat PDP in forthcoming governorship election in November 2019.
She urged the women to continue praying for the betterment of Bayelsa State.
