Former governor Timipre Sylva has again won with 981 votes the fresh Bayelsa All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries on Wednesday in Yenagoa, the state capital.
Sylva beat 13 other APC governorship aspirants in the primary election.

Twenty-seven votes were voided.

Mr. Timi Alaibe, former managing director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), withdrew from the race earlier in the morning.
