Bandits strike at military base in Kaduna, kill 11 soldiers

 Birnin Gwari has been a playground of bandits, where they carry out audacious attacks on military and civilian positions.

The rampaging bandits terrorizing Kaduna, reportedly struck at a military base in Polwire village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing 11 soldiers and three local vigilante operatives. 

The bandits struck yesterday, according to a military signal quoted by an online newspaper, Sahara Reporters. 

The newspaper said the bandits came in large numbers on motorcycles and engaged the troops in a battle that lasted for two hours before dislodging them.

The newspaper recalled that on Sunday, terrorists also stormed villages across Kagarko and Kachia Local Government Areas of Kaduna State where they killed no fewer than 17 residents in four communities after abducting 22 others.
