The ward chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Mbube East of Cross River State would probably be shocked to receive a formal letter written in pidgin English by Abang Ogon, a chieftain of the party, quitting the fold.
Ogon is a special adviser to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State who defected from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In solidarity, Ogon addressed a letter in Pidgin English to the PDP ward chairman in Mbube East announcing his resignation from the party. He also demanded to retrieve some seats he donated to the party.
In the letter, Ogon said: “Shebi you don hear say Governor don move?” Ogon asked in the letter. He then concluded: “I no dey do again.”
