A fatal motor accident occurred on Friday morning along the popular Lagos-Ikorodu Expressway in Lagos State.
The accident, which happened around Ketu area of the road, involved a trailer and some other vehicles, including a commercial bus. It claimed a few lives.
According to witnesses, the trailer collided with a commercial bus and the container it was conveying fell on some other vehicles, leaving some of the occupants dead.
The identity of the dead were yet to be ascertained as at press time but some of the witnesses said students who were on their way to school were among the victims.
The accident caused a serious gridlock along the road before men of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) arrived the scene to control the traffic.
