Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s strike sent La Liga giant Barcelona into Europa League’s rounds of eight after they defeated Galatasaray in Turkey

Brazilian defender Marcao gave the hosts the lead in the 28th minute after he was put through by Alexandru Cicaldau.

Barcelona went in front for the first time after Aubameyang tapped in an easy goal from an assist from Frenkie de Jong in the 49th minute.
The visitors then ran down the clock, infuriating the home crowd who started throwing bottles and plastic cups onto the field, prompting the referee to stop the game for a few minutes.
Aubameyang joined the Catalonians on a free transfer in February after four years at Arsenal and has scored seven goals since then, meanwhile, he only scored a total of 4 Premier League goals before his move.
Barcelona were relegated to Europa League after finishing behind Bayern Munich and Benfica during the group stage of the Champions League.
