La Liga outfit, Atletico Madrid, have lodged an official complaint to UEFA ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Arsenal, after being left without hot water at the Emirates Stadium following their training session today.
UEFA lists showers with hot water as something that every dressing room in continental competition must be equipped with, as clearly laid out in infrastructure regulations. Those rules do, however, apply to the hosting of matches, not informal training sessions.
Despite this, Atletico were of the opinion that facilities at such an impressive venue should be in full working order for their visit.
According to Marca, the Spanish side, after training at the London stadium on a rainy day, were unable to shower before leaving the stadium.

Diego Simeone’s men had initially reported the issue to Arsenal’s staff shortly after Atletico arrived around 5:30 PM, but it was not resolved before the end of training.
Players and staff had to return to their hotel to shower and prepare for the match.
Atletico Madrid currently sit 10th in the Champions League table, having responded to their loss at Anfield with a win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are fifth after winning both of their games against Olympiacos and Athletic Club.
