English Premier League (EPL) club, Aston Villa are hoping to use qualification for UEFA Champions League to tempt Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman to join them.
The Nigerian international is expected to leave Serie A side, Atalanta at the end of the season.
Villa have a strong interest in the Nigeria international, and according to Caught Offside, remain hopeful he will join if they achieve Champions League qualification for a second successive season.
Villa are currently 6th on the EPL log table with 51 points from thirty one League games.

They will, however, be playing Champions League football for two straight seasons if they are able to finish fifth, thanks for Arsenal’s 3-0 thrashing of La Liga giants, Real Madrid on Tuesday night
Atalanta will demand around €60m to sell the tricky winger.
Lookman has been linked with a number of clubs in England, Italy and Spain.
The 27-year-old previously played for EPL clubs, Everton and Fulham.
He joined Atalanta from Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig in 2022.
