Association of Sign Language Interpreters, Ondo chapter congratulates Aiyedatiwa on Supreme Court victory

The Association of Sign Language Interpreters in Nigeria (ASLIN), Ondo State Chapter, has congratulated the State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court.

The group described the landmark judgment as a triumph for justice, democracy, and the collective will of the people of Ondo State.

It further noted that the verdict has not only put to rest all disputes arising from the governorship election but also reaffirmed the confidence reposed in Governor Aiyedatiwa by the citizens of the state

In a statement issued by the leadership of the association in Ondo State,  Oje Oluwaseun A.R. (JP) – Chairperson and Olowookere Mabel -Vice Chairperson  noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown exemplary leadership, inclusiveness, and commitment to good governance since assuming office, and the Supreme Court verdict would further strengthen his administration in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

“Let us also use this opportunity to commend Mr Governor for his exemplary leadership style, visionary governance, and inclusive policies that continue to bring progress to the Sunshine State.

“Your administration has remained people-focused and development-driven, thereby earning you the goodwill and support of the people” they said

The association also expressed confidence that the governor will continue to champion policies that promote inclusivity, equal opportunities, and support for persons with disabilities, particularly in the area of communication accessibility and sign language interpretation.

ASLIN reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with the state government in advancing disability rights and fostering an inclusive society where no one is left behind.

The statement prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for Governor Aiyedatiwa as he leads Ondo State to greater heights.
