Popular Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has revealed that he drew inspiration from ace Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid.
He made this known recently, while relishing his collaboration with the Grammy-winning artiste in this newly-released third studio album titled, ‘Lungu Boy.’
Speaking via the side note of their collaborative effort on the project, ‘MMS’, on digital streaming platforms, Asake also disclosed that he has been longing to collaborate with ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner.

He went on to add that it took a long time to release the collaborative effort because he was waiting for the right time and the right song.
While analysing the song, Asake wrote: “It’s no secret that Wizkid is one of my music inspirations. As a young striving artiste in Lagos, I’ve been waiting for that right song so when the opportunity came it was a no brainer.
“‘MMS’ stands for ‘Mr Money Sound’ and it explains my music journey.”
