Asake makes grand entrance into London concert with helicopter

Asake also performed songs from his debut album, ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ and his sophomore project

Popular Afrobeats singer, Ahmed Oloade, better known as Asake, on Sunday night, made a grand entrance as he arrived on the stage in a helicopter amid wild cheers from fans during a concert in London, United Kingdom.  

This was revealed in a viral post by a Twitter user identified as @oneJoblessBoy, where the ‘Mr Money’ crooner was seen coming down from the aircraft.

Asake, after the performance, also made history as the first Nigerian newbie to sell out the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in Britain’s capital.  

While on the stage, he performed a medley of songs from his debut album, ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ and his sophomore project, ‘Work Of Art.’

He was also supported by his YBNL record label mates, Fireboy DML, Lil Kesh and hosts of other artistes.

Asake after this latest feat, now joins Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy on the roll call of Nigerian artistes that have sold out the O2 Arena.

Meanwhile, another Nigerian artiste, Rema is also set to headline a concert at the prestigious arena later this year.
