Asagunla, Ondo APC chieftain, buries mum

Okeagbe Akoko stand still as a chieftain of the APC and MD/ CEO of WASAGUN International, buries his 82-year-old mum in grand style

The remains of Chief (Mrs) Evangelist Margaret Bolaji Asagunla JP, the mother of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ondo State, Evangelist Olumuyiwa Asagunla, will be buried on Friday 5th of November, 2021 at Okeagbe Akoko, Ondo State.

On Thursday 4th of November, 2021, the body leaves Bells Mortuary, Akure in a motorcade to Oke-Agbe Akoko by 8. am while Commendation services holds shortly at Akoko North West Local Government Secretariat, Oke-Agbe, Akoko; Ajuwa Grammar School and Oke-Agbe Microfinance Bank as well as her family house at Pa Aliu’s House, IMA Quarters, Affa, Oke-Agbe Akoko.

According to a statement by the family, Service of Songs and Night of Tribute/Praise Night has been slated to hold at her residence B74 Surulere Street, Ayowe, Afa Okeagbe Akoko by 5 pm-6 pm and 7 pm-9 pm respectively. While the burial service will hold at St. George’s Anglican Church, Okeagbe on 5th November 2021 at 10 am. Reception holds immediately at St. Theresa Pry School, Afa Oke-Agbe, Akoko. Thanksgiving Service Sunday 7th November 2021 at the same Church.

The late Chief Mrs Asagunla, who was a former Vice-Principal of Ajuwa Grammar School, Okeagbe Akoko died on 30th of May, 2021 at the age of 82

She was a Supervisory Councillor on Education in Akoko North West Local Government of Ondo State and the 1st Diocesan Link Secretary, Akoko Diocese, 1st Diocesan Reader in Akokoland Director in Okeagbe Microfine Bank,2nd vice president NCWS Ondo State and Iyalode of St. George’s Anglican Church, Okeagbe Akoko.
