Arsenal on Tuesday night went three points clear at the top of the English Premier League (EPL) after a thumping win over harsh-rivals, Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners scored 5 times and kept a clean sheet on the night, backing up their impressive win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday. .
Prior to the Wolves’ game, Arsenal had suffered a home league defeat to Aston Villa and a Champions League quarter-final exit to Bayern Munich.
However, Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for the home side in the 4th minute to settle any early nerves when he beat Chelsea keeper, Djordje Petrovic at his near post.
Subsequently, the visitors occasionally threatened in the first half, with Nicolas Jackson missing a clear headed to level the score.

White then looped his second over Petrovic to make the score line 5-0, pushing the North Londoner’s goal difference up to +56 , 13 better than Liverpool’s and 12 ahead of Manchester City.
