Arsenal have turned down a loan offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad for forward Leandro Trossard, making it clear that the 29-year-old is not available for transfer. Al-Ittihad, who recently crowned Saudi Pro League champions in 2023, proposed a deal to sign Trossard on loan for £4 million, with an option to buy him permanently next summer for around £20 million.
Despite the closure of the Premier League transfer window, the Saudi Pro League window for foreign players remains open until Monday, giving Al-Ittihad time to pursue alternative targets. The club has been active in the transfer market, most notably signing former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema last year. Benzema played a key role in appointing Laurent Blanc as head coach this summer.

Arsenal refuses to part with Trossard as the club bolsters its attacking options. On Friday, Arsenal secured the loan signing of Raheem Sterling from Chelsea to address their shortage in the forward department.
