Bernd Leno having fallen down the pecking order is expected to leave Arsenal, but won’t be leaving this January transfer window, as there are no concrete interests from another club.

According to Daily Telegraph, Leno who has just one year left on his current Arsenal deal will be allowed to leave the Emirate for a fee around £5m.

He signed for Arsenal in 2018 but was only given just three games this season before he was replaced by Aaron Ramsdale, who is now the club’s number one goalkeeper.

Since the English man took over, he has made the position his own with a string of outstanding performances which at a point saw Arsenal climb as high as the 4th position.

Arsenals’ signing of Matt Turner, who currently plays for the New England Revolution in the United State, is a further indication that Leno’s time is up at the Emirates. ,

He is, however, only 29, and his current value is placed at £14.4m although is expected to naturally diminish, as he continues to sit on the bench and his contract gets shorter.
